PROTESTING VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND CELEBRATING WOMEN'S POWER! Thursday, September 27, 2007 6:30 p.m. Gathering 7:00 p.m. March Begins Women: Bring your energy, friends, children, drums! Men: Show your support by lining the streets of the March and shouting words of encouragement. All are welcome to join us post-march for refreshments at the Victoria Park Pavilion. This year, we have invited our Members of Parliament to the opening rally to share briefly what they and their Party intend to do over the next four years to address violence against women in our community. |
