Don't Make Us Work for Free! On September 17th, Ontario women started working for free because of the 29% wage gap between women and men.   • Bracelets For Awareness

    Phoebe, a 12-year-old girl from Northern Ontario, has a great idea for young people to make everyone aware of poverty and violence against women. She weaves bracelets of white and purple — white for an end to poverty and purple for an end to violence against women. Phoebe sells her bracelets and donates half of her money to her local food bank. She knows that women and children who have to start again after leaving a violent home are often poor in Ontario.
